We have the litter box in the basement; we use scented litter no smell throughout the house. The cats have no problem using this box (we have three kittens-six months old). Easy to clean just change the bag; takes less than 5 minutes per day.

To be fair, I wanted to give this product a good run. For 3 months, it has proved to be a disappointment. It does work as described but what it also does is somehow the poop gets broken down into small pieces which does not get recognized as waste. It then continues to be ground up as this this rotates becoming part of the litter and very foul smelling. I will be trashing this product, I would not be unkind and give it away. I will try something else. Additionally, the cat while using this thing manages to toss litter with ground excrement all over the place as there is no cover and the well is not deep. Very poor design, messy and foul.

The litter box does not have a cover so when it takes an hour to make a round the smell of the cat poop and pee is overpowering. Plus It does not pick everything up, sometimes I had to get the scooper out to pick pieces up. Also, the container that the poop goes into is not sealed so the smell leaks from that too.
